On Tuesday 26th April we begin our month of SPECIAL EDITION Ground Schools with Radio Telephony (RT) from 18:00. We will be joined by special guests ATC and RT examiner Capt Helena Hughes and Radar Controller Amanda Rhodes.

Sounding competent when using the radio is an essential part of flying. Often students can be nervous when making a call to ATC (Air Traffic Control) but with training and plenty of practice you’ll be reciting your callsign in your in your sleep… GOLF-HOTEL-ECHO-ROMEO-ZULU! 

This will be a fantastic opportunity to ask any questions you may have, test out your RT skills and get a masterclass in zone transits without having to fly at the same time!

First time? Whether you are currently training, a qualified pilot or perhaps you just share our love of helicopters you can escape into our virtual crew room and enjoy a couple of hours of RT chat!
