Paul- Company Founder I Accountable Manager I Chief Flying Instructor
Position:
Teach students to fly the R22, R44, Cabri G2 and B206 helicopters plus conversions, run ground school and the exams. Still enjoy the buzz of flying trial lessons and seeing people get excited about learning to fly and of course run the company.
Experience/ background:
With 25 years of experience and over 8000 instructional hours, Capt. White is both our Company Founder and Head of Training. Fulfilling a childhood dream, Capt. White started his flying journey in 1997 and has since devoted the majority of his flying career to teaching. Previously operating as Heliservices out of Cranfield, in 2012 Capt. White and his wife moved the flying school to London Elstree in 2012 and Elstree Helicopters was born!

Katharine- Company Director I Head of Marketing I Compliance Manager
Position:
Look after the design and marketing, Compliance manager, HR and business development

A background in marketing and design.

Elaine- Flying School Administrator:
Position:
Look after the students, organise the bookings and calendar
Experience/ background:
Elaine has administration experience of 15 years in industries of oil and gas, branded marketing in direct mail for convenience stores. Cleaning supervisor for Mercedes and working in reception as well as doing supplies and pay roles.

Sean- Flight Instructor:
Position:
Flying Instructor – Teaching students to fly R22, R44, Cabri G2 and B206 helicopters and ground schooling for PPL Exams. Flying our budding pilots trial lessons and Experiences and of course enjoying people’s smile after their first flight!
Experience/background:
RAF Chinook pilot by background after a 35 year career in the RAF. Sean is now perusing a portfolio career. Central to this passion for flying and teaching people to fly helicopters, light aircraft and gliders. Sean also has a number of board roles including chairmanship of Demelza childrens hospice and is the RAFs senior representative in Northern Ireland.
Dhillon- Flight Instructor:
Position:
Flying Instructor – Teaching students to fly R44 and Cabri G2 helicopters and ground schooling for PPL Exams. Flying our budding pilots trial lessons and Experiences and of course enjoying people’s smile after their first flight!
Experience/background:
Dhillon has a background in project management in the pharmaceuticals and healthcare industry. Most recently worked in the MET Police for 3 years before continuing his dream of being a Helicopter pilot.
Malcolm- Ground Handler and Safety Manager
Position:
Keeping everyone coming for a trial lesson with us safe whilst on the ground. Giving the safety briefing, escorting to and from the helicopters and taking lots of photos.
Experience/background:
Having retired after 33 years as a London Cabbie, Malcolm was given a Christmas present of a trial lesson at flying pig. having always had an interest in helicopters and after a great trial lesson he enquired if any help was ever needed! Over 7 years later Malcolm is still a proud part of our ‘flying family’.
Holly – Flight Instructor
Position:
Flying Instructor – Teaching students to fly R44 helicopters and ground schooling for PPL Exams. Flying our budding pilots trial lessons and Experiences and of course enjoying people’s smile after their first flight!
Experience/background:
Holly has been flying for 10 years. She started of gliding and also instructors on gliders. Before moving to Elstree Holly was a utilities helicopter pilot flying low level surveying pipelines.
Tony- Operations and ground Crew
Position:
Looking after the students, the customers and of course our pilots! I also ground handle and make sure the helis are fuelled.
Experience/background:
With a multitude of previous jobs including, chauffeuring, property management and lorry driving. Before joining our team Tony was one of our fellow students and later he joined our team. Soon after completed his PPL(H) which has kick started his life long dream of being a helicopter pilot and being in the best office in the world, the cockpit.

Rebecca – Marketing and Website Coordinator
Position:
Assists the head of marketing with website updates, our monthly newsletter as well as posting all the students wonderful achievements and updates on our social medias.
Experience/background:
Rebecca graduated University in 2021 with a Joint Honours in Event Management and Marketing. Since then she has gained experience in Marketing within different industries.
