I hope everyone enjoyed our Meteorology ground school last week. It was fun trying to predict the weather and I think we learnt a lot during the session. Next up on Tuesday 15th March we will be focusing on Flight Performance & Planning at the later time of 19:00 – 21:00

The 7 Ps is a British Army adage for Proper Planning and Preparation Prevents P*** Poor Performance. As an instructor we teach a PIC (pilot in command) the importance of having a well prepared flight plan and a good understanding of your aircraft’s capabilities. On Tuesday we will plan a route together from scratch along with a few FPP highlights; Fuel planning, VFR Charts, Routes, Altitudes, NOTAMS, the good old Whizz Wheel (CRP-1).
