I hope everyone enjoyed our ground school special last time ‘Preparing for Take Off’ next up Tuesday 27th April we will be focusing on Flight Performance & Planning at the usual time 18:00 – 20:00
The
7 Ps is a British Army adage for
Proper Planning and Preparation
Prevents P***
Poor Performance.
As a
PIC (pilot in command) it’s important to have a clear perspective of your aircraft’s capabilities. It’s crucial that you know how well or indeed how badly your aircraft is performing during the different phases of flight. By studying flight performance & planning during your PPL(H) you’ll learn to understand the performance potential and limitations of your aircraft. Having a depth of knowledge in this area is key to becoming a safe, accomplished pilot.
Here’s a few of the highlights you can expect from ground school this Tuesday – Weight & Balance, Performance Charts, Conversions and the good ole Whizz Wheel (CRP-1).
As usual we will meet in our Virtual Crew Room via
‘ZOOM’ (see below for details). Please RSVP (details below) and Capt. White will send you the meeting link. Bring your own snacks and a thirst for knowledge!
If you haven’t been before then why not give it a try! Whether you are currently training, a qualified pilot, from enthusiast to examiner you can escape into our virtual crew room and enjoy a couple of hours of pilot chat!
