Virtual Ground School – Q & A with Flight Lieutenant Richard Luck

16 March 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Elstree virtual ground school

I hope you can all now tell your alto cirrus from your cumulonimbus. Apologies to those expecting Flight Performance & Planning this week, but we have made a change to our ground school schedule. On Tuesday 16th March from 18:00-20:00 we are delighted to welcome back a previous guest speaker and friend of the flying school Flight Lieutenant Richard Luck for another trip into this ‘Lucky Aviator’s’ world.

If you were unable to join us last time, here’s a little about Flt. Lt. Richard Luck… Signing up in 1986 Rich has had an incredible flying career both in the military and commercially. He has flown across the globe in just about every helicopter the RAF have to offer and is now based at RAF Benson as a Puma Operational Evaluation Pilot and spends his spare time writing about his experiences in his blog Behind the Drag Curve link below. Recently back from a tour in Kabul, Richard will be sharing more of his fabulous stories with us and is well equipped to answer any questions you have. Whether you are currently learning to fly, studying for your exams or just want to brush up your knowledge, this is a ‘not to be missed’ Ground School.

As usual we will meet in our Virtual Crew Room via ‘ZOOM’ please RSVP (details below) and Capt. White will send you the meeting link. Bring your own snacks and a thirst for knowledge!

If you haven’t been before then why not give it a try! All aviators are welcome from the absolute beginner to experienced pilot. So escape into our virtual crew room and enjoy a couple of hours of pilot chat and hopefully learn something new!
