FREE Ground School
These personalised sessions, just like our regular One-to-One Ground School, you can choose which topic you would like to focus on or be guided by your instructor where there are gaps in your knowledge. With a One-to-One you can also determine the length of time you would like to study for. What better way to while away lockdown than by tapping into Capt. Paul White’s wealth of theoretical knowledge and experiencewhich will hopefully make learning more enjoyable and less challenging.
One-to-One Virtual Ground School sessions are available in 30 minutes at a time to suit you. Each session is at the incredible price of £15 each and it gets better… your first session is absolutely FREE!

We will be continuing our Tuesday evening Ground School group sessions!
These a great way of bringing all our students, past, present and even potential pilots together and talk all things Helicopters! Each session we choose one of the topics from the PPL(H) theoretical knowledge syllabus and through a combination of Q&A, group discussion, videos etc. These group sessions are a brilliant way to learn; relaxed, less pressured and give you the opportunity to bounce ideas of each other. Many of our previous students now flying family members continue to join us once they have passed and share the benefits of their wisdom and spend time with people who love helicopters as much as they do!
We will try and bring as much of the essence of our bi-weekly evenings to these virtual sessions keeping as much the same as possible except you may need to organise your own pizza!
The fun starts at 18:00 and is usually approximately 2 hours but of course you can join at anytime. Please RSVP so we know to expect you via email training@flyingpighelicopters.co.uk and Capt. Paul White will send you an invitation to join us in the Virtual Crew Room
We will be making all this possible via video calls and will be using the application Zoom; a popular video conferencing tool. First and foremost, download the App to your computer, iPad or even your phone (please call marketing if you need any help with this). Then all you have to do is book your One-to-One session(s) or RSVP to our Tuesday evening group session and Capt. Paul White will send you an invitation to join him in the Virtual Crew Room
