This 80 minute helicopter flight for THREE or FOUR people (depending on aircraft) is the perfect way to see our wonderful capital. Get up close and personal with some of London’s most iconic landmarks AND get a taste of what it feels like to fly in a helicopter!
- Highlights will be seeing Olympic Stadium, the O2, the ArcelorMittal Orbit, the Shard, London City Airport
- As this is a flying lesson, your flying instructor will you give the opportunity to take the controls
- If you choose to fly in the Robinson R44 you will also be able to invite 2 friends or family
- Or if you choose the Jet Ranger B206 then you can be accompanied by up to three crew
- All vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase (unless otherwise stated) and are non-transferable or refundable
Description
What to expect
Time is divided equally between the aircraft and the classroom with 40 minute flight (rotors running).
During your briefing you will discover the principles of flight, how the helicopter flies and is controlled, including start-up and shut down procedures. After a photo opportunity down at the helipad, it will be up, up and away! At the instructor’s discretion, the budding pilot in the front will have the chance to take the controls whilst the ‘crew’ in the back will will be able to take their own in-flight photos and movies with one of our Crew Cams. Once landed you will receive a Certificate of Achievement and the opportunity to purchase any photos or your own in-flight movie of your flight. Should you wish to continue your flying journey then you will be able to log your flying time.
